It was a very enjoyable Thanksgiving lunch today at school, lovely to meet parents and grandparents. The weeks seem to be flying by, and progress reports will be sent home with students on Thursday. Please bear in mind that grades will change fairly quickly after progress reports, and that students still have time to improve grades should they need to.
We are busy with our explorers unit in social studies, and as with the unit on Native Americans, there is a lot of information for students to remember. Please encourage daily review and reading.
We will have another reading challenge over the Thanksgiving break, and I hope to have all our students participate. It's a great way to relax (and improve reading skills) on a chilly evening!
We are finishing off our unit on multiplication this week, and then will move onto division. Students should continue to work on attaining fact fluency, as this will help them with speed and accuracy in both division and multiplication.

Wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving, and a restful and enjoyable break with your families.
