I hope you're all enjoying Spring Break so far. I have just returned from Tallahassee where my son had his senior recital for trumpet. It was a very special and enjoyable weekend, and he gave a wonderful performance.

  The Georgia Milestones will begin on April 19, and administration has asked us to post the schedule. While I do encourage students to do their very best, I don't want them to feel stressed or overwhelmed by the testing. They have worked hard this year, and this is an opportunity for them to show what they have learned.

I hope students will come back feeling rested and ready to take on the last few weeks of fourth grade!

April 26^th 5^th Grade Science

April 27^th 5^th Grade Social Studies

In addition to ensuring daily attendance, you can also have your student practice with the Georgia online testing platform. The site is http://www.gaexperienceonline.com.  This site will allow your student to manipulate the online testing tools and become familiar with the features he or she will encounter during testing.

During the assessment period, please make sure your child gets plenty of rest, has a good breakfast, and is at school on time.
